William E. Tobin, a lifelong resident of Shenorock, NY passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the age of 59. Bill was born in Mt. Kisco, NY on
December 11, 1958, the son of William J. and Jean A. Walsh Tobin.

Bill graduated from Somers High School, class of 1977. He was a retired truck driver working for many years for Lawton Adams Construction in Somers. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 1080 in Mahopac and a member of the Putnam County Fish and Game.

He is survived by his sister, Sheila Pugliese of Milford, CT; his nieces and nephews, Marty, Shannon, Makayla and Joey, his cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by his brother John and his sister Susan.

Visiting will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 1-4 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home at 3:30 pm during the visitation period. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11 am and proceed to Rose Hills Memorial Park on Mill St. in Putnam Valley for the final committal prayers and entombment.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bill may be made to American Legion Post 1080, 333 Buckshollow Rd., Mahopac, NY 10541
