Walter J. Brown of Mahopac, NY passed away on January 15, 2018 at the age of 82. He was born in New York City on December 28, 1935, the son of Walter and Catherine (Doran) Brown. Walter was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War.

Walter is survived by his son Kevin and his wife Kathy, his daughter Ann Marie Schiavone and her husband Joseph, his daughter Theresa Votano and her husband Greg, his grandchildren Christina Marie, Thomas, and Joseph; and his sister Eileen Parsons. He was predeceased by his wife Marie in 2010.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17th from 4-8 PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 18th at 10 AM at St. James The Apostle Church in Carmel, NY. Interment will follow at Raymond Hill Cemetery, also in Carmel.
