Nicholas (Nick) L. Faba of Mahopac, NY passed away after a brief illness on April 2, 2018 at the age of 61. He was born on July 8, 1956 in Poughkeepsie, NY, the son of Louis and Gloria (Casagrande) Faba. Nick received his Masters Degree from Teachers College at Columbia University and graduated from State University of New York at Albany.

He worked as a computer and technology teacher at Horace Mann School in Riverdale, NY for over twenty years, where he ushered students through the change from boxy, pre-internet technology to the ubiquitous personal devices we use today. Among many other interests, Nick was an avid fan of Apple, photography, The Grateful Dead, and the Democratic Party.

Nick is survived by his wife of 32 years, Deborah, and his sons Michael and Alex.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a memorial visitation on Friday, April 6th from 3pm to 8pm at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac, NY. A private cremation will be held prior to services.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in his name to Regional Hospice and Palliative Care, 30 Milestone Rd, Danbury, CT 06810.
