Michael P. Donovan Jr. of Cobleskill, NY formerly of Somers, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday January 26, 2019 at the age of 23. He was born in Carmel, NY on May 31, 1995, the son of Michael Sr. and Sherri See Donovan.

Michael was a 2013 graduate of Somers High School. He went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree at SUNY Cobleskill.

Michael loved the outdoors, camping, riding his quad and spending time with his family on the weekends. He loved playing video games, building computers and helping others. He was employed at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown as an IT specialist.

He is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Sherri of Somers, his beloved sister, Kathleen of Somers, his maternal grandparents, David and Joan See of Ossining, NY, his paternal grandparents, Donald and Jill Donovan of Rye, NY, his uncle and aunt, David and Michelle See and their children, Olivia and Aidan, his aunt and uncle, Dawn and Rich Gargan and their daughter, Shannon, many aunts, uncles and cousins and his longtime girlfriend, Cassie Adams.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 3 from Noon to 4 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held at 3:30 pm. A gathering of friends and family will be held after the service.
