Marilyn S. Daul, a longtime resident of Mahopac, NY passed away on Sunday November 6, 2016 at the age of 67. She was born in Yonkers, NY on June 24, 1949, the daughter of Bobbye June and John E. Vitale.

Marilyn earned her Masters degree in education and taught in the Mahopac School District for many years, mostly at the Austin Rd. Elementary School. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Marilyn enjoyed traveling and going to shows. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and loved being with her grandchildren.

On June 23, 1968 she married Bruce Daul at St. John The Evangelist Church in Mahopac. In addition to Bruce, she is survived by her daughter Susan Daul-Gabis and her husband Jonathan of Westminster, MA, her sister Debbie Edgerton and her husband Carl of Thompson, CT, her brother John Vitale and his wife Nancy of Brooklyn, CT and her grandchildren, Lyra, Nova and Frankie. Her daughter McKay died in 1998.

Visiting will be held on Saturday November 12, 2016 from 10 am to 12 Noon at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 12 Noon Saturday at the funeral home. Per Marilyn's wishes, cremation took place privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
