Marian O'Neill, a resident of Cortlandt Manor, NY since 1973, passed away on Monday April 10, 2017 at the age of 80. She was born in Manhattan on November 25, 1936, the daughter of John Paul and Frances Batko Nelson.

Marian worked for over 40 years with The Appraisal Services Group in Katonah, NY. She was a Notary Public and a member of the Cortlandt Manor Senior Citizens who meet on Westbrook Drive.

On September 14, 1957, she married Eugene J. O'Neill at St. Helena's Church in the Bronx. Mr. O'Neill died on November 1, 2009. She is survived by her sons, Richard and wife Ann of Mahopac, Stephen and wife Louanne of Bronxville, NY; her daughters, Diane Clements and husband David of Spring Hill, TN and Tara O'Neill-Knasick and husband Darren of Averill Park, NY; her sister, Elaine Tassi of Hampstead, NC and 9 grandchildren.

Visiting will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 4-8 pm and Friday April 14, 2017 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Funeral Services will follow on Friday April 14 at 10:30 am at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home with interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, LI, NY.
