Margaret A. "Peggy" Keevins passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 22, 2018 at the age of 72. She was born in Queens, NY, the daughter of William H. and Margaret (McDermott) Wilson. Peggy worked as a pre-school teacher at St. John The Evangelist Church for over 20 years. On September 16, 1967 she married Gerard "Gerry" Keevins and they were blessed with three children.

During the summer months, Peggy loved spending time on the Jersey shore with her family and especially with her 5 granddaughters whom she adored.

In addition to her husband Gerry, Peggy is survived by her son Chris, her daughter Debbie Sgaglio and her husband Michael, her son Patrick and his wife Suzan, and five grandchildren Lauren Sgaglio, Meghan Keevins, Hannah Sgaglio, Aileen Keevins, and Elizabeth Keevins. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother William J. Wilson.

All are welcome to attend a memorial visitation on Sunday, October 28th from 1-4 & 6-8 PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 29th at 10 AM at St. John The Evangelist Church, also in Mahopac. A private cremation will be held prior to services and interment of ashes will be scheduled at a later date.
