George N. Bartilucci of Ft. Myers, FL passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the age of 87. He was born in Manhattan on January 22, 1931, the son of Victor and Lilly Giamarino Bartilucci.

George graduated from Manhattan Aviation High School in 1948 and served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. George was a retired Lieutenant with FDNY and served on Engine 312 in Queens as well as in the Bronx. In his spare time, he loved to play golf.

Prior to retiring to Florida, he had lived in Queens, NY, Mahopac, NY and Yorktown Heights, NY.

On September 29, 1951 he married Patricia Cosentino at Blessed Sacrament Church in Queens. In addition to his loving wife, Pat, he is survived by his daughter, Patrice Morini of Carmel, NY, his son George and his wife, Patricia of Brewster, NY, his four grandchildren, Victoria and Sam Morini and Catherine and Michael Bartilucci. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael and his son-in-law, Robert Morini in 2017.

Visiting will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 10 am at St. John the Evangelist Church in Mahopac with entombment to follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley, NY.

In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of George may be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 Healthpark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
