Fred D. Erickson of Harrisburg, PA and formerly of Mahopac, NY passed away on Saturday January 27, 2018 at the age of 51. He was born in Carmel, NY on October 18, 1966, the son of Robert Erickson Sr. and Yvonne Smith Erickson.

Fred graduated from Mahopac High School, where he spent his youth before moving to Pennsylvania. He was self employed in the sheetrock and drywall business in Lancaster County, PA. Fred enjoyed fishing and duck hunting.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his beloved wife, Debby, his children, Christopher, Matthew and Joshua Erickson and Kimberly and Alan Sauerwald, his brothers, Robert Jr. (Wendy) and Peter (Lynn) and his sisters, Kathleen Gasperino (Michael) and Penny Drabick as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visiting will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 4-8 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 10 am at the funeral home with interment to follow at Raymond Hill Cemetery in Carmel, NY.
