Frances Altomare of Mahopac, NY passed away on July 28, 2017 after a fierce battle with cancer; she was 70 years old. She was born in New York City on October 21, 1946, the daughter of Patsy and Rose (Madonia) Cappolla. Fran worked as an admissions director at Somers Manor Nursing Home for over 30 years.

Fran is survived by her husband Nick, her son Mark Kravis, grandchildren Chanelle and Lea, great granddaughter Kenna, siblings "Guss", "BB", Vivian, and Gina; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Scott and her brother Pasquale(Porky).

Friends and family are welcome to attend a visitation on Monday, July 31st from 5-9 PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac, NY. A prayer service will begin at 8:30 PM during the visitation with a private cremation to follow.
