Emanuel (Manny) Weinberg of Palm Harbor, FL and formerly of Mahopac and LaGrangeville, NY passed away on March 1, 2017 at the age of 88. He was born in the Bronx, the son of Philip and Bertha (Geller) Weinberg. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and a Teamster with Local 445. In 1952 he married Janet Mandelbaum and together they raised their three sons.

Manny had a gregarious personality who made friends with everyone he met and was always ready to help everyone. He was a lifetime Yankee fan and also enjoyed fishing, golf, woodworking, and building bird houses.

Manny is survived by his son Stephen and his wife Peggy, son David and his wife Bonnie, son Douglas Adam, and daughter-in-law Laura; his brother Solomon and twin brother Aaron; and grandchildren Brenda, Holly, Amy, Amanda, and Rebecca. He is also survived by his loving nieces Linda Landau and Valerie Goodfriend; and nieces Deborah Vouris and Sharon Cardiff who provided him with loving care during his final years. Manny was predeceased by his wife Janet and his brother Sidney.

A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, March 7th at 10AM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac. Interment will follow at King David Cemetery in Putnam Valley.
