Christopher L. Stasiak of W. Nyack, NY and formerly of Mahopac, NY passed away on Monday September 4, 2017 at the age of 58. He was born in Yonkers, NY on January 12, 1959, the son of William and Joan Hughes Stasiak.

Christopher was a graduate of Mahopac High School and served in the US Navy. He was a retired letter carrier for the US Postal Service in Nyack for 33 years.

He is survived by his mother, Joan Stasiak of Mahopac, his brothers William of Yonkers and South Carolina, Thomas (Rosemarie) and Michael (Meriann) all of South Carolina, Richard of Carmel, NY and James (Dawn) of Mahopac; his sisters, Donna (Joseph) Smith of Delaware and Kimberly Stasiak of Mt. Kisco, NY as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father in 1993.

Visiting will be held on Thursday September 7 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am at St. John the Evangelist Church in Mahopac with interment to follow at Raymond Hill Cemetery in Carmel.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Christopher may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
