Carol J. Vicario, a lifelong resident of Mahopac, NY passed away on December 28, 2018 at the age of 75. She was born in Yonkers, NY on July 8, 1943, the daughter of Donald and Ruth (nee Kronenburg) Courtney.

Carol and her late husband Patrick owned the Mahopac Railroad Tie Co. She was instrumental in the formation of the Lake Association Committee and an avid gardener.

Carol is survived by her son Brian and his wife Debra, her daughter Christine Rallis and her husband Peter, her brother Donald Courtney and his wife Elaine, grandchildren Elizabeth, Patrick, Robert, Steven, and Stephanie; and great grandchildren Giovanni and Kylie. She was predeceased by her husband Patrick and her sisters Donna Lemmens and Janet Smith.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a memorial visitation on Monday, January 7th from 4-8 PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac, NY. Her funeral service will begin at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 8th at the Chapel at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley, NY followed by inurnment of ashes.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
