Carmela Yobak, a longtime resident of Mahopac, NY passed away on Tuesday, February 14th at the age of 95. She was born in New York, NY, the daughter of Daniel and Josephine (Sica) Cappiello. On April 8, 1945 she married Charles Yobak in the Bronx. Carmela worked as a monitor in Mahopac Middle School for over 20 years. The students knew her as "Little Millie".

Carmela is survived by her daughter Janet Pizzola, daughter Frances Ruocco and her husband John, son Charles and his wife Joanne, sister Anna Gloria, 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a visitation on Friday, February 17th from 4-8 PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac. A funeral service will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, February 18th, also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
