Barbara D. Knibbs, a Mahopac, NY resident since 1966, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018. She was born in Yonkers, NY, the daughter of Christian and Ethel Rogers Andersen.

Barbara loved spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed her trips to Cape Cod with her family. Her favorite pastime was watching the NY Yankees.

On July 12, 1952 she married Edson R. "Buster" Knibbs at St. Mary's Church in Yonkers. Buster passed away on July 4, 1998. She is survived by her daughters, Tracy Sialiano and her husband, George of Mahopac and Judy Savino and her husband, Tom of Pawling, NY; her sisters, Phyllis Laveglia of Farmingville, NY and Judy Fitzpatrick of Valley Cottage, NY; her grandchildren Curtice (Daria) Trombetta and Joseph Savino and her great granddaughter, Megan Grace.

Visiting will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 4-8 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 10 am at the funeral home with interment to follow at First Presbyterian Cemetery in Mahopac Falls.
