I moved across the street from Rose when I was 17. I got to know her after her son Matthew would see me out on my front porch and push his front door open and run across the street to say HI! She saw that I was lonely and would invite me over for tea and cookies. We became instant friends. She was a huge support to me during a time that I missed my friends and home. May the choirs of angels come to greet you may they speed you to paradise may the Lord enfold you in his mercy may you find eternal life.

Aunt Rose was a woman in my life who was always there for me. So considerate & kind, a steady presence, an unending source of love. She didn't have an easy life but did everything to make life easy for others. An incredible Christian woman a shining example of goodness. She meant the world to me and to our family. A wonderful hostess whom we enjoyed so many great holidays, celebrations, and visits. She loved to cook and bake and everything was prepared with care and love. Her cookies, Pecan tarts, and Spinach pie were legendary in our family. She was an avid reader, a master at Scrabble, and so incredibly smart. With a heart so warm, she gave unselfishly to everyone and was loved by so many. She always was a special aunt but more than that she was a cherished friend. She inspired me and was such a positive influence in my life. The love she shared with my dad, her brother, was beyond comparison. Two young children who made the voyage to this country from Italy with just each other to lean on and remained so close throughout their lives. A touching example of family and loyalty. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother. She took tremendous pride in her sons and her grandchildren and truly considered them to be her greatest blessings!
Aunt Rose, thank you for loving me unconditionally, for always believing in me, for making me feel special and for touching my life forever! You have a very special place in my heart and I could never thank you enough for being so good to me and to my husband and children too.
I will hold all the wonderful memories of you deep in my heart and through those memories I will keep you close until we meet again. I'll think of you as living in the hearts of those you touched, for nothing loved is every lost, and you were loved so very much! God has you in His keeping and we have you in our hearts! Rest in Peace! Love always & forever, Lorraine
